{Celebrate}

November 16th
My beautiful "Big Girl" was born on this date.
Fact: There are 5 others members of our family(this includes Rilo) that share this same birthday!
I think it's a sign.

This year we celebrated Ella's Birthday on Sunday November the 13th.
Like always, we enjoyed the company of our dearest friends and family.
We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.
Thank you to All of the Grandmas who helped cook the food, as always it was delightful.
The weather was most beautiful the day of the party, just as it was the day I went to the hospital.
A beautiful day for a beautiful girl.

Happy Birthday to our "Big Girl"!
We Love you Ella,
-Mommy and Daddy

{Carnival Fun}

Last weekend Ella, Nanna and I went to the carnival. The first rides Ella wanted to go on were the farris wheel and the carousel. Of course the first two rides exhausted our entire supply of tickets.

Back to the ticket booth!

After the farris wheel and the carousel, we found every possible ride that she could ride on. Ella managed to ride every ride she could without being the least bit scared.

Oh, and did I mention that I got to ride too!
Happy Mother's day to me!

{A Spot of Tea}

Today was a good and a bad day.

Let's start with the good:
If you know me then you know that I love tea pots. Well, today I found a little necklace that was just that! It's so cute I had to get two. One for me and one for Ella.
Found at XXI

Now for the Bad:

I guess it  is all about how you look at it.
While shopping for this cute little must have necklace, among other
things, I managed to drop $100 in cash somewhere on the floor. Guess who has that $100 now? Not me. Panicked and stressed I went back to retrace my steps and found nothing (I was not surprised). I was hoping that there are still some good hearted people out there, which I know that there is, that would find it and turn it in. Again, no such luck. I am going to take this as a sign that someone else needed that money more that I did. I hope that someones life just got a little better today because of it.

{Little Green Thumb}

I got Ella some flower seeds on Valentine's day. As soon as I a gave them to
her she was ready to plant them. Ever since then we have been observing their progress and watching them grow! Now, if I can just get her to stop picking off the leaves we might be able watch
the flowers bloom.

{Springing Back}

Goodbye thundersnow, hello beautiful sunshine!

That little gopher was right! It's only February and it feels like Spring!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed in hopes that it will stick around. The whole family got in on some outdoor action today. We spent the day riding bikes, working on outdoor projects and laying out watching the clouds go by!

{Made with Love}

The perfect treat for my precious Valentine
Tonight I have a date with Ella. Above was our dinner that was made from the heart. Desert followed with heart shaped chocolates and PEZ candies. Topped with a big glass of milk(4)!

the Menu:
Sometimes it is hard to find things that "little ones" like to eat. I like to make sandwiches made into different fun shapes. It's easy to do for every Holiday, all you need is some festive cookie cutters(1)!

Also try this great combo for a sandwich, thanks to my good friend Jen. She told me a few different ways to make a great sandwich with my Nutella. My favorite one so far is Nutella and peanut butter(2). It's delish, it tastes like eating a Reese's peanut butter sandwich. Plus, when you say the magical word "chocolate" to the kids you know it will be a hit. (even though it's not chocolate)

enjoy!

{Mr. and Ms. Fix it}

It has taken THREE whole years until I said, "I had it!"

That was the day my lovely husband hung up my floor length mirror that has been sitting on my floor.
Do you know how hard it is to see if you look "OK" if you can only see your feet? I do. At least I know my feet are nothing to be concerned about.

When there is a project that needs to be done in our house Ella is always right there to help. She ran strait to her room pulled out her tool box and said,"I'm going to fix the house like Daddy does."

How could you not smile? They are the best.

{Winter Wonderland}

I woke up this morning to a Winter Wonderland.

Going to work this morning was a little scary but coming home was more than exciting!

My mini me and I went out to try and build "Frosty"......and we did.
Don't worry Daddy was right there helping put on all of Frosty's magical features!
